Red de Mujeres de La Costa en Rebeldia

Dedicated to the defense of land and territories, Red de Mujeres de La Costa en Rebeldia is women’s network fighting the threats of extractive projects in the coastal region of Chiapas, southern Mexico. Central to their work is safeguarding their food sovereignty and the health of their territories, communities and bodies. The group seeks to transform conditions of violence to create communities that respect all people and human rights.
