This website (www.mamacash.org) is run by MamaCash. We are an international fund that supports women, girls’, trans and intersex people’s movements around the world.

Our aim

We want everyone to be able to perceive, understand, navigate and interact with this website, and we aim to ensure that the design and functionality of the website supports everyone, including those who many have challenges accessing web content.

To support us in this, we consider Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1), and aim to follow them when updating the site.

WCAG 2.1 covers a wide range of recommendations for making Web content more accessible. Following these guidelines is done with the aim of making content more accessible to a wider range of people with disabilities, including accommodations for blindness and low vision, deafness and hearing loss, limited movement, speech disabilities, photosensitivity, and combinations of these, and some accommodation for learning disabilities and cognitive limitations; but will not address every user need for people with these disabilities.

Following WCAG 2.1 is done with the aim of maximising accessibility of web content on desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.

In practice, following WCAG 2.1 means doing things like ensuring the site can be navigated without a mouse (e.g. using a keyboard), giving images alternative text, ensuring clear contrast for text and interactive elements, and providing clear navigation options.
