Mama Cash is an international women’s fund that was founded in 1983 by five lesbian feminists. Forty years later, Mama Cash has grown to more than 60 staff members and volunteer Supervisory Board members living and working across the world. Mama Cash envisions a Supervisory Board, Management Team and staff body that is representative of the feminist movements we work with. We therefore intentionally recruit and welcome people who are targeted by systemic oppression, including but not limited to sexism, racism, homo-antagonism, trans-antagonism, classism and disablism – and their intersections.
