Ze identificeert zich als een vrouwelijke sekswerker en werkt al 8 jaar op het gebied van hiv met betrekking tot sleutelpopulaties. Ze werkte eerder bij het Bar Hostess Empowerment Programme (BHESP) als programmamedewerker en als consultant bij het Global Network of Sex Work Projects. Haar passie is werken met sekswerkers op het gebied van hiv-preventie, mensenrechten en bewegingsopbouw. Ze heeft ook gewerkt als nationaal co\u00f6rdinator van het Kenya Key Population Consortium en momenteel werkt ze als regionaal co\u00f6rdinator van de African Sex Workers Alliance in Nairobi.
