Unión Latinoamericana de Mujeres (ULAM)
Unión Latinoamericana de Mujeres (ULAM) is regional network of Indigenous and rural women activists and advocates who are affected by mining. ULAM brings together women activists and groups from Costa Rica, Bolivia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela. ULAM aims to strengthen women’s voice, impact and influence so that governments and corporations will address women’s needs and concerns. The network engages in capacity building, regional alliance-building and advocacy.
