Mama Cash has developed a new strategy to more effectively work towards her goals: strengthening the human rights of women and girls all over the world.

The new strategy is exciting and ambitious, and we believe it is critical to enabling women's and girls' groups and movements worldwide to bring about fundamental change.

Lebanon > publication:
voices of queer women & trans persons

Lebanon's first and long-awaited book on the lives of queer women and transgender people in Lebanon is published by Meem, one of Mama Cash's grantees.

The publication called 'Bareed Mista3jil' ('Mail in a Hurry') is an amazing accomplishment and a landmark moment for LBT organising in Lebanon and the Middle East. Mama Cash is very proud of the groundbreaking work of this group.

In 2008, Mama Cash invested €2.515.049 in 172 women's and girls' rights organisations based in 73 different countries throughout the world.
